Our client is a large and well-established oil company. They have a strong international presence in Russia, the CIS and beyond, and have seen substantial growth in the last decades. The company is now looking for a strong and experienced Regional Vice President Sales for the European region who will continue to drive the strong growth of the company in Europe.
Job Description :
A leadership position that manages the sales force to maximize sales results and sales force productivity. Heavily involved in marketing and selling products and services for the clients from the company. This leader is charged with managing the profitability and growth of all of of the clients‘ products and services in their geographic market/region.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with the President to plan regional sales campaign, developing the skills of the sales team, implementing key account plans and proactively reviewing the effectiveness of sales efforts.
Achieve sales and vendor goals for the region. Track and monitor sales productivity daily and address performance issues immediately. Report monthly to the President (see below).
Work with the President to develop Regional Sales plans based on regional market and competitor analysis. Assists in the development of plans to maximize the efficiency of the sale force.
Focus on the retention of current business and new business development/ focused prospecting. Identify and act on lateral expansion opportunities.
Work with sales team to ensure customer satisfaction by interacting directly with customers to improve the product and understanding customer’s needs. May include accompanying sales professionals to client meetings to sell the product.
Maintain awareness of customer service issues and partner with operations in a timely manner
Lead and drive regional reporting and strategic decisions.
Special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements :
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
BS degree in Management, Marketing, or related business discipline. Relevant MBA or Ph. D. is an advantage.
Minimum ten years experience in commercial oil & gas transactions, and a minimum of three years of equivalent experience oil & gas sales force management, and preferably Board level experience in a larger oil & gas company
Strong knowledge of the petroleum product distribution industry.
Ability to take independent decisions and reach results.
Fluent Russian and English
